Donald E. Pollard, Jr.

Donald Pollard is the owner of The Law Office of Donald E. Pollard, Jr., located in Douglasville, Georgia, and serves as Of Counsel at Pollard Legal Group, LLC. Practicing for more than 12 years, Don is an attorney specializing in serious personal injury cases throughout Georgia, including car and truck accidents, and wrongful death. He has a track record of success in and out of the courtroom.

Formally, from 2014 - March of 2016, Donald held the position of Inspector General for the Georgia Department of Community Health (DCH). While there, he provided leadership and direction to the Office of Inspector General (OIG), which safeguards the integrity of DCH from risk internally and externally. OIG is charged with detecting fraud, waste and abuse in the Medicaid program. The office also provides department oversight and audit services.

Prior to holding the position of Inspector General, Pollard served as Deputy General Counsel for DCH, from 2013-2014. As Deputy, Don was responsible for providing legal guidance to the Department to ensure compliance with federal and state law as well as DCH policies and procedures. He also served as the Commissioner’s special designee for DCH State Health Benefit Plan.

Pollard has an undergraduate degree in Political Science from Morehouse College and a Juris Doctor degree from John Marshall Law School.
